Beef wet fry is such a versatile dish.. it can be paired with chapatis, pilau, ugali, bhajias etc. This is how simple I make mine.
INGREDIENTS
1 kg beef
2 tbs vegetable oil
2 large onions chopped
Handful chopped Dania stems
5 cloves of garlic grated
2 inch ginger grated
1 tsp whole cumin seeds/cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1tbs turmeric powder
1/3 cup cubed carrots
1 medium sized bell pepper (hoho) cubed
2 tbs tomato paste
2 medium sized tomatoes cubed
3-4 measured cups of water
Chopped Dania leaves
Salt & pepper to taste

PROCEDURE
-clean your beef and drizzle some lemon juice /white vinegar on it before other preparations.
-chop your beef into medium sized cubes.
In a hot heavy based pan/pot add in your beef and some salt and cook it down for 2-3 min to remove the water content from it.
- Add in your vegetable oil, onions and Dania stems. Sauté until the meat and onions have began to brown . Approx 3-4 min
-Next add in your garlic and ginger and sauté for another 2min
- Add in your cumin, garam masala, dania powder and turmeric and sauté for 1min
- Add in your tomato paste and sauté for 1 min
-Add in your peeled tomatoes and sauté for 3 min to begin the softening.Next add in your water and season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
-cover and cook down on medium heat for 30-40min until you have a thick sauce and most of the liquid has evaporated
-Garnish with chopped dania leaves and enjoy!
